About the Barnet VTS
Barnet vocational training scheme is based at the Postgraduate Centre at Barnet Hospital. We meet every Thursday for teaching at 12:30. See the diary page for details of forthcoming teaching sessions.
If you're puzzled about a particular training issue or if you're experiencing problems during your 3 years on the scheme, don't hesitate to discuss this with any of the programme directors. They are extremely approachable, and are on our side!

The library is also a helpful source of information, and the librarians are particularly helpful, particularly with difficult Medline searches!

We have representation at a Regional and National level. The London Deanery oversees GP training in the London region. You have a representative on their London General Practice GP Registrar Representative Committee. If you feel there are issues that need to be raised at a local level then discuss them with your representative.
National Representation is through the General Medical Services Committee (GMSC) GP Registrar Sub-Committee.
