The Margaret Pyke DFFP Theory course is a favourite with the scheme, but plan early - the courses book up very quickly.
Review of Margaret Pyke Theory course 2005
A three day non residential course held at the cannonbury academy in Islington. It is hard to find fault in this course which had a good mix of lectures and small group sessions. The location was easy to get to, catering was excellent and the surroundings were fantastic with plenty of rooms set aside for small group work.

valerie.vanleeuwerden@nwlh.nhs.ukReview of Northwick Park Theory course 2005:
Well organised day, albeit a considerable number of lectures and information to process. However, some respite in the form of plenty of small group sessions. Large handout provided plus another handout for recent updates. Food/coffee fair-good. Conclusion: 4/5Current updates on other available courses can be found on the Faculty website http://www.fsrh.org which publishes an annual course list.
