VTS Educational Programme
The VTS Half Day release programme takes place on Thursday afternoons in the Education Centre at Barnet General Hospital.
The VTS Meetings commence with lunch from 12:30 pm.
The lecture for the day runs from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm. After tea, we continue in small groups until 4:30 pm.
Please don't forget to sign the register and email with apologies if you are on nights/away to Mandy Claret the Course administrator.
If you are Chairing a session this term please remind yourself about the roles of a chair
Attendance at the VTS half day release and away days are mandatory.
This attendance includes both the Presentation (1.30-3pm) and Small Groups (3.30pm-4.30pm)
The London Deanery look at our Trainee attendance figures each term and the expectation is you will attend 80% of the VTS half day releases.
It is the responsibility of the Trainee to complete the Register weekly. If you are unable to attend please contact Mandy Claret, the Scheme administrator, as soon as possible with your reason for non-attendance.
A Trainee leaving before Small Groups will be marked as only partly attending the afternoon.
Please use the following where appropriate.
Annual leave= AL; Study leave=SL, Maternity leave= ML;Out of programme= OOP; Sick/compassionate leave=O; Work-related too busy= WB, rota issue =WR,nights= WN.
